Acupuncture stimulates the electromagnetic energy of the body. In simple terms, it also stimulates the body to communicate more effectively. We use acupuncture for both the functional and structural sides of our practice. Structurally it will increase blood flow, dissipate scar tissue, promote faster healing, and get the healing that normally wouldn’t occur. There are six different ways we do it; Gold Needles, Silver Needles, Red Laser, Green Laser, Electric Stimulation, and Powder which will be determined. Acupuncture is a principle, not a technique. Therefore, there are many ways to stimulate an acupoint other than a needle. Historians have stated, “More people have benefited from Acupuncture over fifty centuries than the combined total of all other healing sciences, both ancient and modern.”
History Of Acupuncture
The history of Acupuncture is typically related to Asia, but the origin is still a mystery. Otzi the Iceman is the oldest found mummy to date – 5,300 years old found in the Italian Alps in 1991. Once analyzed, scientists found 61 tattoos that aligned with meridian acupuncture. Acupuncture as a whole still has many mysteries surrounding it.
Testing – Electro Meridian imaging
Many of the protocols are pre-determined, but at times we use an examination tool called electro meridian imaging especially for functional (internal) health. This tool uses the feedback of the twelve meridians to determine the acupoints necessary for a particular patient.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the treatment painful? Because of the extreme slenderness of the needle, most people compare the sensations to less than a mosquito bite.
Are results psychological? Many critics have suggested the science is hypnosis or “mind of matter.” However, this criticism is unfounded as results show amazing effects in infants and toddlers as well as veterinary applications.
Are results permanent? For acute problems, results are often permanent. For chronic conditions symptoms may recur from time to time, simply a few additional treatments help at that time.
