Insurance Billing Specialist
We are looking for an Insurance Billing Specialist for a multi-disciplinary practice.
Responsibilities:
- Audits claims before claims are sent to the insurance company to ensure maximum return on the claim
- Reviews insurance policy(s) to determine coverage
- Performs general office duties, such as filing, answering phones, and handling customer questions
- Enters claim information into reports and/or computer system
- Posts or attaches information to claim file
- Sends claim for payment or further investigation
- Contacts insured patient or other involved persons to obtain missing information
- Reviews set of superbills from previous date to current date
- Ensures the diagnosis matches the Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) code on date of service for claim
- Informs supervisor at the end of the week what date was worked up until so Third Party Claim Administrator can send claims to insurance company(s)
Nurse Practitioner
The Nurse Practitioner diagnoses and treats acute, episodic, or chronic illness, as part of a healthcare team. The main responsibilities for this position include health promotion and disease prevention. The Nurse Practitioner orders, performs, and interprets diagnostic tests such as lab work and x rays. In addition, this position is responsible for referring diagnostics and other care that is provided at the practice.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzes and interprets patients’ histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses
- Diagnoses and treats acute health care problems such as illnesses, infections, or injuries
- Recommends diagnostic or therapeutic interventions with attention to safety, cost, invasiveness, simplicity, acceptability, adherence, and efficacy
- Prescribes medications based on efficacy, safety, and cost as legally authorized
- Educates patients about self-management of acute or chronic illnesses, tailoring instructions to patients’ individual circumstances
- Prescribes medication dosages, routes, and frequencies based on patient characteristics such as age and gender
- Orders, performs, or interprets the results of diagnostic tests
- Maintains complete and detailed records of patients’ health care plans and prognoses
- Recommends interventions to modify behavior associated with health risks
- Develops treatment plans based on standards of care and professional practice guidelines
- Detects and responds to adverse drug reactions, with special attention to vulnerable populations such as infants, children, pregnant and lactating women, or older adults
- Reads current literature, talks with colleagues, and participates in professional organizations or conferences to keep up to date on developments in nursing
- Counsels patients about drug regimens and possible side effects or interactions with other substances such as food supplements, over-the-counter (OTC) medications, or herbal remedies
- Diagnoses or treats chronic healthcare problems such as high blood pressure and diabetes
- Provides patients with information needed to promote health, reduce risk factors, and prevent disease or disability
- Treats or refers patients for primary care conditions, such as headaches, hypertension, urinary tract infections, upper respiratory infections, and dermatological conditions
- Consults with or refers patients to appropriate specialists when conditions exceed the scope of practice or expertise
- Diagnoses or treats complex, unstable, comorbid, episodic, or emergency conditions in collaboration with other healthcare providers as necessary
- Schedules follow-up visits to monitor patients or evaluate health or illness care
- Performs routine or annual physical examinations
- Maintains current knowledge of state legal regulations for nurse practitioner practice including reimbursement of services
- Provides patients or caregivers with assistance in locating healthcare resources
- Maintains departmental policies and procedures in areas such as safety and infection control
- Performs primary care procedures such as suturing, administering trigger point and steroid injections, taking cultures, and debriding wounds
- Advocates for accessible health care that minimizes environmental health risks
- Keeps up-to-date on regulatory processes and payer systems such as Medicare, managed care, and private sources
- Collaborates with other healthcare providers within the practice to maximize patients’ healthcare potential

Front Desk Associate
The Front Office Associate, Flow position is responsible for taking patients back to their service room(s) and smoothly transitioning patients from service to service. This position ensures the patient is taken care of in a timely manner by minimizing wait time for the patient and keeping the patient moving between services.
Responsibilities:
- Transitions patients from service to service
- Takes patient back to room(s)
- Keeps chart with patient and ensures chart gets back to check out
- Communicates to provider what was communicated from the patient
- Ensures patient is taken care of in timely manner by minimizing wait time for patient and keeping patient moving between services
- Updates schedule and adds patients to schedule, including phone consults
Massage Therapist
The Massage Therapist performs therapeutic massages, therapeutic exercises, and manual therapies of soft tissues and joints. This position is responsible for assisting in the assessment and treatment of range of motion and muscle strength and stretching, and propose client therapy plans. In addition, the Massage Therapist works with other healthcare providers within the practice to develop and follow treatment plans for clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provides therapeutic massage/manual therapy to muscles and soft tissues of the body to provide treatment for medical conditions, injuries, and wellness maintenance
- Confers with clients about their medical histories and issues with stress or pain in order to determine how therapeutic massage/manual therapy will be most helpful
- Applies appropriate pressure to specific parts of the body
- Maintains treatment records
- Assesses clients’ soft tissue condition, joint quality and function, muscle strength, and range of motion
- Works with Physical Medicine department to provide clients with guidance and information about techniques for postural improvement and stretching, strengthening, relaxation, and rehabilitative exercises
- Develops and proposes client treatment plans that specify which types of massages are to be used
- Refers clients to other types of services within the practice
- Communicates with other healthcare providers within the practice to develop treatment plans for clients
- Educates and supports patients with healthy lifestyles and informs patients of the different services provided at the practice and how those services can best be utilized by patient
- Prepares and blends oils and applies the blends to clients’ skin
- Prepares room and maintains room cleanliness (washes towels, sheets, and blankets)
- Applies heat or cold therapy to patients using materials such as heat pads, hydrocollator packs, warm compresses, cold compresses, and essential oils
- Attends continuing education classes in order to comply with certification requirements
Registered Nurse
We are looking for another RN to join our team on a full-time basis. You will be working hand in hand with our Nutritionist, Nurse Practitioner, Chiropractor and many more to provide a full spectrum of care for our patients.
The RN performs administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of a Physician and/or Nurse Practitioner. Administrative duties include collecting patient information for intake and recording patient information into Electronic Health Record. Additional administrative duties include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding information for insurance purposes. Clinical duties include taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, drawing blood, and administering medications as directed by Physician and/or Nurse Practitioner.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares treatment rooms for patient examinations and keeps the rooms neat and clean
- Interviews patients to obtain medical information and measures their vital signs, weight, and height; performs body composition analysis
- Calls new patient before appointment to collect info (i.e. medical history, insurance, etc.)
- Records patients’ medical history, vital statistics, and information such as test results in medical records
- Explains treatment procedures, medications, and physician’s’ instructions to patients
- Logs in patients for diagnostics and injections
- Schedules patient follow up visit and inputs all future tests into system for optimal care
- Conducts follow up calls for patient complaints
- Helps physicians examine and treat patients, prepares and administers injections
- Operates x-ray, electrocardiogram (EKG), Doppler, External Counterpulsation Therapy (ECP), Cardio-Assess, hair analysis, and other equipment to administer routine diagnostic tests
Functional Health Assistant
We are currently seeking a Functional Health Assistant to join our team! You will work with our Functional Health Coaches on providing a warm professional atmosphere for the betterment of our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare diagnostic paperwork for providers and patient
- Follow up on outside labs
- Prepare supplement recommendations and follow ups per Health Coaches request
- Communicate information to patients regarding treatment goals, follow up and plan of care
- Maintain patient medical records
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
Ultrasound Technician
We are looking for an Ultrasound Tech to join our team. This is a new position to the practice that we are excited to add. We have quite a few patients that we have to continuously send out and have decided to bring Ultrasound in house. We look forward to talking with you.

- Prep Room and equipment for patient
- Communicating with appropriate medical staff on findings
- Record the appropriate anatomy using sonographic equipment
